They’re a size between as wash-cloth and a hand-towel, if that helps. They aren’t unraveling in the wash, and the cloth is still sort of soft after several months of use. I would recommend these for a good gym towel or for cleaning at home.I would especially recommend these towels for people I see at the gym cranking out the entire roll of paper towels from the dispensers as a substitute for a towel or a shower altogether. I’m washing towels more frequently, as a result, and though additional use of electricity not great for the planet, at least they’re cotton, no nasty microfibres. They’re a really sensible size, not too big – I can hang them up by the label on the vertical sink unit door handle. They wash and tumble dry well, still look good.I’m thinking of getting another pack. My only criticism would be to ask for a loop to hang with , cos using the label is not very sophicated 😆

These are my second order. Like that these are nice and thick and dry your dishes well. Also use as potholders as long as they are not wet/damp. Also use to dry extra dishes on.When washing and drying the first time make sure to wash alone because they are “linty”. I shook them out after taking out of dryer to remove any excess lint. Only had one towel out of the 18 I ordered unravel along the edge and that was from my first order.Stains from tomato sauce, etc. came out with hot water, detergent and bleach. Shared them with my daughters. Will order again when I need more.

This is the first time I have bought towels from this supplier and they are exactly what I was looking for. I use white cotton towels in the kitchen instead of paper towels so they really take a beating. I try to purchase only once a year so I want something that will get the job done and hold up after repeated washings. They need to be 100% cotton, super absorbent and not too large. There are perfect for my home barista set-up. Every morning I pull a dry one from the clean stack and I also have a wet one, which is the previous day’s dry one. I use the dry one to dry cups and the steaming pitcher that have been rinsed with water (no milk or coffee) . I use the wet one to wipe the steam wand and mop up spills. The size is perfect for this use.The rags have stood up well to washing in hot water with chlorine bleach. (My previous set, from Target, were not so forgiving.) Highly recommended.

For years, I used Food Network’s white bar mop rags to clean everything in my house. When those were no longer available, I started looking for a replacement. The ones I found at places like Walmart are paper thin, so I knew they wouldn’t be good for heavy duty cleaning. These bar mop rags seem to be decent quality, I’ve washed them several times now using liquid bleach, and they’re holding up well. They’re great for cleaning bathrooms, etc… I don’t like them for dusting wood furniture, not thick and fluffy enough. Also, they do leave lint behind, which is very noticeable on dark surfaces. I’m hoping they’ll stop “shedding” after I’ve washed them a few more times.

I wish they were slightly larger for a dish towel. They are more square than rectangular so they don’t stay on the kitchen island towel bar very nicely. Also don’t seem to be as absorbent as other reviewers claim. It seems like the fiber content must be partially polyester, which just pushes water around instead of absorbing it. Bar mops are great for cleaning and saving on paper towels, too. Just toss them in the wash together with some Clorox and laundry detergent, and they are good to go again. These particular bar mops are sturdy enough to take the repeated washings and bleaching.

We use them for wiping the counter-top, the bathroom counter, and to wipe the corners, grab bars, and control handle in the shower. We replace the one in the kitchen a couple times a week… they get washed with all our towels on Saturday, so there’s no added trouble or expense. One roll of paper towels now lasts about 2 weeks.

These are my second order. Like that these are nice and thick and dry your dishes well. Also use as potholders as long as they are not wet/damp. Also use to dry extra dishes on.When washing and drying the first time make sure to wash alone because they are “linty”. I shook them out after taking out of dryer to remove any excess lint. Only had one towel out of the 18 I ordered unravel along the edge and that was from my first order.Stains from tomato sauce, etc. came out with hot water, detergent and bleach. Shared them with my daughters. Will order again when I need more.

Important to note that the washing instructions say to wash in cold and dry with no heat!! You know what’s coming: I did follow instructions and of course the towels did not dry. So I put them on heated dry. They came out OK but do know that they shrunk two inches all around. Of course. I buy white kitchen towels so I can throw them in with my bleach load and then throw them in the dryer. Kitchen towels should not be anything you have to think about with regard to laundering. Also, when one stops to think about it the towels are misrepresented as far as size is concerned. I guess the only way to keep them from shrinking is to hang them outside to dry. I personally don’t know anyone who does that these days but maybe some folks do. I guess I’m just annoyed. So won’t be ordering more.

I have been searching for years to find a kitchen wash cloth that would absorb moisture instead of smearing it all over everything, and wring out dry enough to handle while cooking and cleaning. Every cloth I tried not only smeared water (or liquid of any kind) all over the counters, etc, but was impossible to wring out. I have arthritic hands and need something that can be handled with little pressure and effort. I was a caterer for years and always had a large supply of cloths that could be bleached and cleaned beautifully. Since my retirement I have not been able to find a suitable cloth that was small enough to handle in my much smaller home kitchen. This is the one!. Not only are they beautifully ribbed, but mops perfectly! It bleaches and washes and dries soft and perfect. These gems do all the hard work and in the end easily give up all the dirty marks and clean up like new. It seems silly that such a small thing can make such a huge difference in my day, but they do. Highly recommend.

There are perfect for my home barista set-up. Every morning I pull a dry one from the clean stack and I also have a wet one, which is the previous day’s dry one. I use the dry one to dry cups and the steaming pitcher that have been rinsed with water (no milk or coffee) . I use the wet one to wipe the steam wand and mop up spills. The size is perfect for this use.The rags have stood up well to washing in hot water with chlorine bleach. (My previous set, from Target, were not so forgiving.) Highly recommended.

I ran the whole set of 12 through the washer and dryer before use, and surprisingly there was almost no lint. Just a few loose threads, but that’s not really a surprise. I shave my head (which is like velcro on days in between shaving), and with the old towels my gym used to provide, my head would be covered in lint. Haven’t seen that happen with these yet. Very soft and absorbent, and I sweat a lot at the gym. I wish they were a little bigger, but that’s on me, since the size is specified. At this price, even if they wear out and I have to buy another set in a year, I still call it a good bargain.

These are great! Just got them today. They are 100% cotton! They are an over sized square wash cloth. The seams all appear to be well constructed. I can use these in and around the kitchen for washing, wiping and drying. Nice thickness as expected. I’m keeping them, so I carefully removed the nylon label and will launder them before use.Personally, I would have preferred the label had been a tear away or sticker verses sewn in.First time buyer.

I think they’re working well enough to mop up/dry things, not great but well enough. BUT I expect my bar/kitchen towels to double as what I grab stuff out of the oven with. Doubled over it doesn’t provide enough insulation to be safe if you cant be really quick. It’s fine folded in quarters, but then its small enough that is a bit more risky if you’re grabbing something unwieldy out of the oven.

I am not big fan of micro fibre and am always on the lookout for quality cotton rags to use in the kitchen and for cleaning. These certainly fit the bill! I have been searching for years to find a kitchen wash cloth that would absorb moisture instead of smearing it all over everything, and wring out dry enough to handle while cooking and cleaning. Every cloth I tried not only smeared water (or liquid of any kind) all over the counters, etc, but was impossible to wring out. I have arthritic hands and need something that can be handled with little pressure and effort. I was a caterer for years and always had a large supply of cloths that could be bleached and cleaned beautifully. Since my retirement I have not been able to find a suitable cloth that was small enough to handle in my much smaller home kitchen. This is the one!. Not only are they beautifully ribbed, but mops perfectly! It bleaches and washes and dries soft and perfect. These gems do all the hard work and in the end easily give up all the dirty marks and clean up like new. It seems silly that such a small thing can make such a huge difference in my day, but they do. Highly recommend.

I ran the whole set of 12 through the washer and dryer before use, and surprisingly there was almost no lint. Just a few loose threads, but that’s not really a surprise. I shave my head (which is like velcro on days in between shaving), and with the old towels my gym used to provide, my head would be covered in lint. Haven’t seen that happen with these yet. Very soft and absorbent, and I sweat a lot at the gym. I wish they were a little bigger, but that’s on me, since the size is specified. At this price, even if they wear out and I have to buy another set in a year, I still call it a good bargain.

Great towels for drying hands in the kitchen. White goes with any colour scheme, and more importantly, shows the dirt, perfect in these antibacterial days. I’m washing towels more frequently, as a result, and though additional use of electricity not great for the planet, at least they’re cotton, no nasty microfibres. They’re a really sensible size, not too big – I can hang them up by the label on the vertical sink unit door handle. They wash and tumble dry well, still look good.I’m thinking of getting another pack. My only criticism would be to ask for a loop to hang with , cos using the label is not very sophicated 😆

The advertised specs and label claim 16 inches by 19 inches. Actual size is 15 1/2 inches by 17 1/2 inches.Half of the cloths I received had obvious machine sewing defects along the edges.Compared to the bar cloths I got at a dollar store, these will be a lot more absorbent. The tufting rows are double the size of the untufted rows.The fabric care instructions on the package and every cloth label suggest a fragile fabric: “cold water,” “gentle cycle,” tumble dry “no heat” or “low heat.” A premium cotton cleaning rag should be naturally sturdy, like the ones I got at the dollar store. All those separate delicate fabric rituals, in addition to the possible unravelling side seams, suggests high durability risk.

I purchased these to use as a sweat towel while working out at the gym. The price is great, especially when you consider it’s a 12-pack. They’re a size between as wash-cloth and a hand-towel, if that helps. They aren’t unraveling in the wash, and the cloth is still sort of soft after several months of use. I would recommend these for a good gym towel or for cleaning at home.I would especially recommend these towels for people I see at the gym cranking out the entire roll of paper towels from the dispensers as a substitute for a towel or a shower altogether. Just spend $10 for your own reusable towel. 🙂

I decided to start moving away from microfiber cloths for two reasons. One, they are oh so precious to take care of. Although I wash mine in the gentle cycle and do a cool tumble dry, I feel that I shouldn’t have to. Many people who own these hang them on a clothsline to dry. No thanks! These are for cleaning, and they should be able to be sterilized, but you might harm the microfiber. Two, I learned that the microfiber fibers are a part of “plastic pollution” harming our oceans. No bueno.I decided to keep the microfiber cloths that I have, and slowly start replacing them with good, old-fashioned cotton cloths. I chose these bar towels because they’re 100% cotton, can be washed and dried at high temperatures, and if I need to use bleach in order to ensure that they’re really sanitized, I can do so without fear that they will suddenly be rendered useless. As someone who used to work in a commercial kitchen environment, sanitation is key.I plan on purchasing these towels on a regular basis as I phase out my microfibers. I like the way that they clean, and, no surprise, they are perfect in the kitchen. With a light spray of water, they can do what microfiber can do when it comes to dusting, too. They are good, all-around household tools that I don’t have to worry about.
